Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 July 2026
Fidju Ink respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you join our waitlist, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are (Data Controller)
The brand Fidju Ink is operated by Ben Consulting & Research, which is the controller responsible for your personal data.
- Company: Ben Consulting & Research
- Company number: BE 0668.623.473
- Address: Avenue Louis Jasmin 86, 1150 Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, Belgium
- Privacy contact: privacy@fidjuink.com
2. What data we collect
When you sign up to the Fidju Ink waitlist, we collect:
- Your first name
- Your email address
- Your country — you select this from a list. To make the form easier, we may pre-select a suggested country based on your approximate location (see below).
- Approximate location, derived from your IP address, used only to suggest your country in the form.
- Basic technical details submitted with your sign-up: your IP address, browser/device information (user agent), and the date and time of your submission. We keep these as a record that you gave consent.
We do not collect payment information on this page. No purchase happens here.
3. Why we use your data, and our legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), for the following purposes:
- To add you to the Fidju Ink waitlist;
- To email you when the pre-sale opens and to share news about the first drop;
- To understand, at an aggregate level, which countries our audience comes from, so we can plan shipping, pricing and language options.
We only email you because you asked us to. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see Section 6).
4. Who has access to your data
- Our website is hosted on servers provided by Hostinger, which acts as a data processor.
- Your waitlist details (name, email, country and consent record) are collected through and stored in systeme.io, the marketing platform we use to manage our contact list and send the launch emails. systeme.io acts as our data processor for this purpose.
- Where any processor stores or processes data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use Google Tag Manager to manage the tracking tools on this site, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which helps us measure our campaigns. These marketing cookies are only activated if you accept them in our cookie banner — nothing is tracked before you consent, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. Essential cookies needed to run the site are always active.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep your waitlist data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the first-drop project concludes and we no longer need it — whichever comes first. If we decide not to proceed with the project, we delete the list.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Rectify inaccurate data;
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten");
- Restrict or object to our processing;
- Portability — receive your data in a usable format;
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@fidjuink.com. You can also unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email we send.
If you believe we have mishandled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit — www.autoriteprotectiondonnees.be), or with the supervisory authority in your own country.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows the current version. If we make material changes to how we use your data, we will communicate them where appropriate.
